A collaborative lab for advisory consultants entrepreneurs and service providers focused on healthier, more sustainable ways of working with clients, guests, and patients
Connect. Share. Thrive.
The Wellbeing Design Lab is a professional community focused on better ways to interact with clients, deliver projects and work together, which takes into consideration the wellbeing, long-term health, and professional longevity of advisory consultants and affiliated practitioners. It is a networking, learning, and working lab where peers explore better ways of thriving professionally together.
Members can engage through:
Applied research and shared inquiry
Events such as socials, small-format workshops and roundtables
Collaborative pilots and experiments tied to real practice
Collaborative work projects
There is no paid membership required to join. The core is networking, peer exchange, critiques, collaborations, and access to shared work opportunities. Certain optional programs, services, events, or some collaborative projects may have fees. Participation in them is entirely optional. We will also be working with a small number of trusted suppliers and industry partners as part of the collaborative environment, enabling earlier alignment and more effective project delivery.
Free membership includes
Peer networking (interdisciplinary)
Access to community-only operational resources: ready-to-use templates, scripts, and practice tools
Project-based collaborations and marketing opportunities
Peer critiques & feedback exchanges
Future contemplated development avenues are…
Process-based recognition/awards (not popularity contests)
Access to shared resources and group benefits (accounting, bookkeeping, support services at preferred rates)
Invitations to selective talks and open events
Opportunities for suppliers and industry partners to engage early in project-based collaboration and shared workflows

Who this is best for
Solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and independent advisory consultant professionals, managers and service operators looking for a shared, flexible, peer-based work environment, where exchange and co-making lead to better ideas, stronger execution, and more sustainable ways of operating.
Our mission and what we value
Healthier, more predictable workdays through evidence-based methods
Reduced work pressure through shared resources and collective knowledge
Shared tools and access to project support where needed
Events
The Lab free events hub will focus, among other topics, on how work practices, communication patterns, project structures, and industry-specific culture impact stress, performance, and career sustainability in the design and construction fields. Opt-in skill-building, ready-to-apply workshops will target peers interested in accelerating financial and strategic professional development.
Why It Matters
Across advisory consulting and guest and patient service professions, research consistently shows high levels of burnout, stress, and job dissatisfaction. The stress cycle leaves many talented professionals without affordable infrastructure for resilience building.
The Wellbeing Design Lab responds to that gap. Alongside its research and project collaborations, WDL offers members access to practical wellbeing tools, shared resources, and supportive systems that make independent practice sustainable. Our goal is to prove that health in the service industry starts with the health of the consultant, and openness to share expertise and value.
